During our coronation day for "Bb. Wika" preparing ourselves to ramp walk on stage. Someone really annoying person is disturbing me from my concentration. He asked me so many times If I'm willing to be a part of their band. Somehow, I already told him also "so many times" that I'm not interested because of personal reasons. I rejected him numerous of times. But he stil didn't give up. I'm not a person who is please to say yes easily. But this guy, to the point that he's really annoying already. I gave him his most awaited "yes'.
Its big deal for me that I joined another contest second time around, all because I was force and here Iam again having no choice.
They're my bandmates.
In the beginning of our rehearsals, I find it awkwardly to
be with them although because they’re “All boys band” and I was the only girl
there. The another girl you see there is my bestfriend “Trisha” she become a
member of the band during our last days of rehearsal because there will be
having a “girl part” in the vocals.
I don’t really talk often to guys, and I always find it
uncomfortable when talking to an opposite gender. But that’s all in the past . Why?
Because I encounter lessons in this journey. I somehow learned socializing with other people, and stepping out in my comfort zone. I also learned how to communicate with the crowd because its part of having a band. You entertain your audience and enjoy what you do.
They said that we
have no chance of winning. The band already talk about it. That
we have this little chance. But one
thing that we promised to ourselves is... “The goal is not to win but to
experience and enjoy.” The photo above is the time when the emcee announced my name for being the best drummer for environmental concert 2015.
A really surprising event, because there's so many drummers out there. "Am I deserving?" I sudden asked myself. "Maybe yes because I'm already holding the certificate, with my name on it." and smiled.
Best bassist 2015, my co-bandmate "Bon" was called right after me. Best in rhythm guitar and guitar, two of my co-bandmates "Benjo" and "Allan" were called. Best in vocals 2015, is our vocalists Alvin and Trisha.
They said everything is called as "Hakot awards" lol
And the best band for E-con 2015 is "Banda ni Kelly"
A number of times God revealed to me, that nothing is impossible when you believe. Dreaming of something is also believing. So never lose hope in this life.
"Pray always."
